A party of the future
CUD: OFF-SPRING OF UEDP MEDHIN
We should not lose sight on the fact that the birth of CUD is, to a larger extent, the product and off-spring of UEDP_Medhin. It is the unselfish and hard work of the dedicated members and leaders of this party which has made CUD a success story before and during the May election of last year. Unfortunately, it is the good for nothing groupies of some elements within the Diaspora and their paid servants in Addis who has been and is the source of the evil negative misinformation campaign against UEDP_Medhin and its leadership.
I, for one, admire the dedication and strength of the leaders of the party for taking principled and unflinching stand in such challenging time in our country’s political history.
Criticizing and labeling the hard working UEDP_Medhin members and leaders from the comfort zone of Europe and North America is one thing; laboring and sweating to educate the millions of Ethiopians on the ground to stand up against Woyane and fight for their right to bring about a systemic and meaningful democratic change is another thing.
A message from an angry Lidetu's supporter
.... you guys who call yourselves patriot for contributing insult for the struggle, while contributing nothing for struggle or the people who paying heavy price, not even 2 cents for the families of the victims. I hope you will keep all the receipts of the insults you contributed to the struggle so that you may ask a refund when the CUD leaders walk out of prison.
By the way, do not deceive yourself; CUD didn’t draft a manifesto. This shows that you joined the struggle after the May election like all other Yedel Atbeya Arbegoch. It is/was UEDP-Medhin Manifesto which was adopted by CUD without a single change. If you are not sure go and see the original document posed on http://www.uedpmedhin.org/ long before CUD was formed. If you are not still convinced please call and ask current KIL leaders like Dr. Mogus, Dr. Gashu, Dawit kebede, Mamo Yehune or Getachew Wana or the likes of Col. Goshu. They will tell you the truth.
If the dictators were to fail by insult and threat we would have been the first one to be free.. Unfortunately someone like Lidetu and UEDP have to do the donkey work for many years to organise and mobilise the people that was converted into currency on the May election. If the CUD leader to become free it will be as a result of UEDP-Medhin hard work. Already 2/3 of the prisoners are free as are result of UEDP-Medhin negotiations and time and effort the party invested on the international community.
I tell you, Lidetu will have a better respect of the CUD leaders than your guy for continuing the struggle in the best way he believed right.
